On International Day Of Prayer (15 November 2020), Christians all over the world are praying with the persecuted church.
Who is by your side in a crisis? Who keeps you going when you face dark days?
Christians in Syria have endured persecution, war – and now the Covid-19 pandemic. Muslim-background believers who risk everything to follow Jesus have nowhere to turn. Displaced families lack their usual support networks.
Pastor George asked us to pray.
Pastor George from Qamishli, Syria has witnessed around 1 million believers who flee their country, reducing the number of Christians from 1.8 million to 800,000. But he has followed God’s call to stay in Syria to keep the church alive. Now his church is a Centre of Hope to bring Christ’s love reaching the community.
“The Church in Syria…could not see their congregations suffer…and do nothing.”的會眾遭受苦難⋯⋯不能什麼也不做。」－喬治牧師
This International Day Of Prayer, we are asking that you pray for Syria and Iraq as the churches share the love of Christ with his community amidst violent threats and COVID-19.
