Legacy Giving

A “Will” is a legal document that coordinates the distribution of your assets upon passing.
Your generous gift will help deliver discipleship, emergency relief and community development to the neediest persecuted Christians around the world. You will strengthen the Church, rebuild lives and bring hope to the body of Christ for generations to come.

Yes. Apart from distributing your assets, the Will can be used to nominate guardians for your children under 18 years of age and/or pets that need to be taken care of.

Step 1
Decide on the type of legacy gift.
– Cash bequest: A specific sum of money.
– Percentage of your estate: A specific percentage of your estate’s total value.
– Residuary gift: The remainder of your estate after you have taken care of your family and loved ones.

Step 2
Speak to your family and loved ones about your intentions to leave a gift to Open Doors.

Contact a solicitor and provide the details below. You may also create your Will using Forever Gift's free service. (See below for further details)

Step 2: Verify the details with a lawyer
A qualified lawyer will draft the Will and ensure that all of your intentions are accurately produced in writing. Before finalizing the draft, the lawyer will have an online, phone, or face-to face meeting with you to verify the Will’s content and check your personal information.

Step 3: When your Will is ready, Forever Gift will contact you to have it signed and witnessed at the law firm.
If you prefer to arrange the signing and witnessing yourself, please provide your mailing address.

Please consult a lawyer or consider making a Will overseas that complies with local laws and requirements.
