Imagine what it would be like to be threatened to have your legs broken, your throat cut, your home destroyed or be threatened by police with violence because of your faith?

For Christians in India, following Jesus brings increased risk—to their livelihood and even their lives. Our local partners tell us that persecution is spreading as the number of states with anti-conversion laws grows. And because Hindu extremists often act with impunity, persecution against Christians and other religious minorities is becoming blatant and public.

The raw footage below reveals the reality our sisters and brothers must live in every day—including threats of violence and even death on the streets, in their neighborhoods and even through politicians\' hate speech aired throughout the country.

We share these brief but raw videos to encourage you to join with us to strengthen the church in India through your prayers and gifts that provide food and housing aid, discipleship, legal support, medical care, support for pastors and so much more. It\'s our hope you share these videos with your family, friends, your church.

Believers we talk to tell their stories—scenes that are often extremely difficult to recall and share—in the hopes that others will share their story and raise their voice for them.

Will you stand with your sisters and brothers in India by sharing these videos and praying? If you feel led to give a gift, you can find out more here.

Together, we can make their voices heard. #StandForTruthIndia

Amid this persecution and suffering, the church in India continues to grow. Despite the risks, Indians are turning to Christ, new believers are sharing the gospel in the face of threats and arrest, and church leaders believe so much in the one God who called them they are committed to meeting with the faithful—even when their life and ministry undergo constant attack.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Cor. 4:7-9).
